Over 30 Years Strong, Built Not Bought! Gainesville Harley-Davidson was opened in 1993 by Ray and Gail Lytle with the belief that a family run store could take a more personal approach to selling, servicing, and maintaining Harley-Davidson's than what they had experienced as motorcycle riders and enthusiasts. They followed their dream from Ohio to Gainesville and never looked back opening in their original 5000 square foot location that was already too small but got the job done. Because of this rider friendly environment, Ray and Gail's devotion to the riding community, and employees with the same attitude, Gainesville Harley-Davidson became such a successful business that a new and bigger facility was needed which is the location we are in today. This same ethical business practice and customer service was instilled in both Ray and Gail's sons, Paul and Kevin, and this family tradition continues where they continue to create Customers for Life. Gainesville Harley-Davidson also believes in taking care of their community and continues to invest a percent of their profits to organizations in the greater North Central Florida area. Some of these contributions go to help our local Humane Society, Wreaths Across America, America Hometown Vets Assist, and Stop Children's Cancer with The University of Florida.
